PPAG The Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana Reproductive Health & Family Planning Clinic

The Orange Support Center (OSC)

The OSC is an initiative in the Ghanaian Gender/SGBV milieu launched by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) Ghana in collaboration with the Domestic Violence Secretariat of Ghana’s Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Protection. The OSC uses technology to set up an integrated support system for SGBV victims and survivors through a mobile app, a toll-free call center, and a volunteer platform of certified professionals

Pearl Safe Heaven

The Pearl Safe Haven (PSH) is a Ghanaian company limited by guarantee (not for profit) operating an emergency shelter for survivors of sexual and domestic violence. They aim to provide a safe place and support to enable women and children who have suffered abuse to re-build their lives and rejoin the community. The vision of the Pearl Safe Haven is to promote the human rights of women and children and to protect and heal those who have suffered gender-based violence in Ghana.

The Pearl Safe Haven is determined to change the narrative on Gender Based violence in Ghana.

Boame App

The BOAME App is an innovative platform that supports survivors of domestic and gender-based violence to talk to relevant resource persons. The app allows users to find counselors of the Orange Support Centre, an initiative of the United Nations Population Fund Ghana (UNFPA) in partnership with the Domestic Violence Secretariat under the Ministry of Gender Children and Social Protection, and report issues to them. Counselors guide the victims through the process of reporting the issue to the authorities, while offering emotional support and counseling.

BOAME also offers information on how to deal with and overcome domestic violence.
